Drilling Results

Discoveries made from 1936-2004 have led to the drilling of over 11,000 metres of surface and underground drilling, the sinking of a 139 metre shaft and underground development on two levels. The latest resource estimate dates back to 1988, with Noramco reporting a resource of 300,000 tons at 0.08 oz/ton (as reported by Noramco, 1988).

Upon completion of a geological compilation and the construction of a drill database, a drill programme will be implemented to test for additional resources on the property. Preliminary evaluation of past work indicates the structurally controlled target(s) contain high grade intercepts within strongly silicic altered and veined host rocks.

The Bonanza Property has the potential for medium to high grade gold, as indicated from the historic drilling both along a relatively well defined north-south trend and arguably additional zones to the north-west along as yet, poorly defined structures at the contact with the Dome Stock.
